Job summary

Lakeside Surfaces Llc is seeking a Showroom Assistant to serve as the front-line contact for customers, assist with material selections, and manage CRM data in a fast-paced showroom setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational skills, and an interest in home design, with the ability to schedule appointments and qualify sales opportunities. Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional communication style.
• Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to qualify customer needs and schedule appointments.
• Interest in countertops, home design, or building materials.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning and using a CRM/customer database.
• Prior customer service, sales support, or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and provide a welcoming experience.
• Assist customers with viewing, comparing, and selecting countertop materials.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and provide helpful information.
• Qualify sales opportunities by asking questions.
• Schedule in-home consultations and showroom appointments.
• Enter and maintain customer, project, material, and appointment data in CRM.
• Document interactions and communicate follow-up needs to sales and gallery teams.
• Manage scheduling and communications via Outlook and CRM.
• Maintain a clean, inviting showroom.
• Support sales and gallery teams with admin and customer service needs.
