Job summary

St. Louis Metro Electric Supply, Inc is seeking a full-time showroom sales associate to help customers with product selection and order fulfillment. You will assist in promotions, read catalogs for part numbers and prices, and advise customers on substitutions when needed.

The role includes stocking, processing payments, and maintaining an orderly showroom. Ideal candidates are outgoing, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong communicators with a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

What we do: We assist customers in an unlimited capacity including remodels, whole house lighting, custom lighting design, retail, and corporate layouts; you name it, we do it! We train all of our employees and get them ALA (American Lighting Association) certified, have multiple training events each year to ensure we stay on top of what is new, fresh and current in the industry; all while sticking to our motto of delivering Ultimate Customer Service to every individual who chooses to interact with Metro Lighting.

In this role you will:

• Sell associated products at the showroom.

Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.

Work Shift and Hours: This is a full-time hourly, retail sales position. Shifts vary week to week and include weekends and one possible evening a week (7PM). We strive to have at least one full weekend off each month.
