Job summary

Mathis Home-Irvine is seeking a Sales Associate to join our Irvine showroom. On-site, full-time position focused on greeting customers, promoting merchandise, and processing sales with accuracy and courtesy.

You will explain product features, assess customer needs, and collaborate with the team to ensure an exceptional shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs; a helpful attitude and reliability are essential

Qualifications

• Ability to lift merchandise up to 40 lbs rarely and 10 lbs occasionally.
• Walk or stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication with team members and customers.
• Sales experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer and co-worker.
• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on the showroom floor.
• Explain features of products and help customers make selections.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions.
• Follow up with customer orders and inquiries; coordinate with warehouse as needed.
