Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a division of US LBM, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers and contractors with the sales process in a retail environment. You will take orders over the counter, respond to questions, and process payments while maintaining accurate invoices and a well‑organized showroom.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of building material knowledge or sales experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of building materials a plus.
• Comfort with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and contractors with questions and orders.
• Process sales, handle payments, and issue receipts and invoices.
• Maintain showroom appearance and stock levels on the floor and in stockroom.
• Assist with yard/warehouse operations and basic tools handling.
• Attend trainings and ensure safety and policy compliance.
