Job summary

Autumn Care of Chesapeake in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Shower Aide CNA to join our skilled nursing team. The role provides direct resident care, assists with bathing, grooming and daily activities, and supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing within the applicable laws of the state.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED or be actively enrolled in a high school program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment, and give emotional and social support while attending to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a SNF setting.
• Perform direct care to residents as assigned, per the resident care plan and supervisor directions.
• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and procedures.
