Job summary

Autumn Care of Norfolk is seeking a Shower Aide CNA to provide compassionate direct care in a skilled nursing facility located at 1401 Halstead Avenue, Norfolk, VA. The role includes assisting with bathing, grooming and daily activities while following care plans and facility policies.

We offer flexible pay options, generous PTO, and opportunities for career growth. Shifts include 7:00a-3:00p and 3:00p-7:00p with a wage of $21–$24 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or GED or actively enrolled in a high school program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and emotional and social support for residents in a SNF.
• Attend to residents' physical needs and comfort as directed by care plans.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and procedures.
