Job summary

Devonshire Care Center in Sterling, Colorado is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily resident care according to each resident's care plan and under supervision. You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and comfort to uphold dignity and safety.

The role requires certification or completion of CNA training, at least one year of experience preferred, and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous work experience is desired.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a CNA training program.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and washing residents.
• Providing continuous care and comfort to residents.
• Feeding residents and tracking daily intake of food and liquids.
• Assisting residents with grooming and hygienic needs (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down.
• Safely escorting/transferring residents to/from rooms and other areas.

Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for bathing and washing the patients at the facility
• Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
• Feeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
• Assisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toilet
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
• Safely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least one year of previous work experience is desired
• High school diploma or GED
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
