Job summary

Monroviahealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 7am–3pm shift in Duarte, CA. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan and under the direction of a supervisor, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.

Essential duties include assisting with daily activities, feeding, grooming, mobility, and safe transport within the facility. Qualifications include a CNA certification or completion of training, and at least some prior experience;

Qualifications

• CNA role focused on daily nursing care per care plan.
• Care procedures performed under supervisor guidance.

Responsibilities

• Providing continuous care and comfort to residents.
• Feeding residents and tracking daily intake.
• Assisting with grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down.
• Safely escorting or transporting residents within the facility.
• Filling out and maintaining patient records.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Current CNA certification or completion of CNA training program

Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
• Feeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
• Assisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toilet
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
• Safely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least one year of previous work experience is desired
• High school diploma or GED
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
