Job summary

Corona Post Acute in Corona, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily care to residents in alignment with individual care plans and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will assist with feeding, grooming, mobility, and personal care, support residents with dementia or behavioral needs, and help maintain dignity and comfort during night shifts. A commitment to quality care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of previous work experience preferred.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral patients required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification or completion of CNA training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous care and comfort to residents.
• Assist with feeding and monitor daily intake.
• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down.
• Escort and transport residents as needed.
• Fill out and maintain patient records.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
• Feeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquidsAssisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toiletHelping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
• Safely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience working with dementia and or behavioral patients required
• High school diploma or GED
