Job summary

Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4pm

General Responsibilities:

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, following work assignments and schedules.
• Support the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
• Assist elders with daily living functions such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving, according to their preferences.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, including daily Range of Motion exercises, and record data accordingly. Respond promptly to resident calls.
• Follow established safety precautions during all duties, including exposure to body fluids, lifting, transferring, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Wear and utilize safety equipment and supplies such as gait belts and mechanical lifts when necessary, following the plan of care.
