Description:

Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4pm

General Responsibilities:

• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, as instructed by supervisors. Follow work assignments and schedules to complete tasks.
• Support the admission, transfer, and discharge process for residents.
• Assist elders with daily living functions such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to expressed preferences.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, including daily Range of Motion exercises and recording data. Respond promptly to resident calls.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing duties, including exposure to body fluids, lifting, transferring, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., gait belt, mechanical lifts) when lifting or moving residents, following the plan of care.
