Job summary

Entertainment Technology Partners in Orlando, FL is seeking a hands-on LED Technician to support LED display systems for live events. You will build, configure, test, and deploy LED solutions from warehouse prep through show-site execution.

Requirements include 1–3 years of LED experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel. You will work with production teams on-site, review drawings, and help ensure reliable, high‑quality visuals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify event requirements and develop implementation approaches.
  • Identify additional equipment needs and communicate requirements.

  • Build racks and troubleshoot issues before events.
  • Travel to venues and assist with onsite setup and execution.
  • Verify requirements, resources, and installation needs; coordinate with teams.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify equipment; report issues and coordinate resolution.

Location: Orlando, FL | Full Time | Pay Range: $25 - $35/HR (Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do
Deliver Reliable LED Systems
  • Build, configure, and deploy LED display systems for a variety of live events and productions.
  • Ensure video signals are accurately processed and displayed across LED environments.
  • Support the design and implementation of complex LED and multi-processing systems.
Plan for Successful Event Execution
  • Review show schedules, contracts, quotes, CAD drawings, Vectorworks drawings, and related documentation.
  • Determine event requirements and develop an effective approach for implementing technical solutions.
  • Identify additional equipment needs and communicate requirements to support successful show delivery.
Prepare and Maintain Equipment
  • Assemble, test, and evaluate LED-related equipment before deployment.
  • Build equipment racks and troubleshoot technical issues in advance of events.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and help maintain operational readiness.
Support On-Site Production
  • Travel to event venues and assist with onsite setup and execution.
  • Verify technical requirements, available resources, and installation needs prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate with venue personnel, clients, and internal teams to resolve production challenges.
Manage Equipment Logistics
  • Receive, inspect, and verify equipment against manifests.
  • Report missing, damaged, or incorrect equipment and help coordinate resolution.
  • Help ensure all equipment is properly prepared, tracked, and returned following events.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
