Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Shoulder and Upper Extremity Surgery to join SOMC Orthopedic Associates.

The position offers a hospital-employed role with a focus on growing a shoulder and upper-extremity program within an established orthopedic group, supported by a robust regional referral network.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of fellowship training in Shoulder and Upper Extremity Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a shoulder and upper-extremity program within SOMC Orthopedic Associates.
• Collaborate with arthroplasty specialist and colleagues in sports medicine, hand, general ortho, and foot/ankle care.
• Perform shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff and labral repair, arthroplasty, and related procedures.
