Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in shot peening or related surface treatments.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and blueprints to layout and prepare components for shot peening.
• Operate shot peening equipment, adjusting nozzle angles, oscillation and air pressure.
• Conduct visual inspections before and after processing for defects.
• Prepare components, clean and apply protective masking as required.
• Adjust settings to meet job specifications.
• Verify intensities with Almen, strips and gauges and record results.
• Maintain records of process parameters and inspection results.
• Identify and report issues to supervisor.
