Job summary

Waukee CSD is seeking a licensed teacher or current district substitute to provide short-term, individualized writing instruction to a student.

The assignment offers 1:1 support in writing with up to 20 instructional hours. Preferred timing is Wednesdays after school, with some flexibility on non-student days or weekends, typically an hour or so. 1–2 hours of paid prep time per week are provided.

• Up to 20 instructional hours available to complete the assignment
• Wednesdays after school are preferred
• Some flexibility may be available on non-student days or occasionally on weekends(typically an hour or so at a time)
• 1–2 hours of paid preparation time per week will be provided
• This is a short-term assignment and will conclude once the required instructional hours are completed

Licensure/Endorsement

Candidates should hold one of the following Iowa endorsements:

• 5–12 English, or
• 5–12 Special Education

Compensation

• Licensed Teacher: $35.00/hour
• Current Waukee CSD Substitute Teacher: $20.63/hour
