The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention when needed, and meticulous documentation for legal/insurance purposes.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• State licensure as Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training/experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork ability.
• Experience in short-term therapy for personal injuries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan treatment for clients with personal injuries within short-term framework.
• Provide CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Respond to crisis situations and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Educate clients and develop coping strategies; promote resilience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and share progress.
• Document sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans; prepare reports.
• Adhere to ethical standards and protect client confidentiality.
