Job summary

Delphi Technologies is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LPC or LCSW) to provide short-term therapy for individuals after personal injuries, such as car accidents, focusing on emotional healing and coping strategies within a limited time frame.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, apply evidence-based modalities (CBT, solution-focused, mindfulness), collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and generate reports for legal or insurance purposes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
• Specialized training or experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience in short-term therapy with personal injuries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the psychological impact of personal injuries on clients.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapies for trauma, anxiety, depression, using CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Education and Coping Strategies: Teach clients about injury-related psychological effects and coping strategies.
• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Share progress updates with the care team.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain progress notes and treatment plans; prepare reports for legal or insurance purposes.
• Ethical Standards: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional guidelines.
