Job summary

ComForCare in Connecticut is hiring compassionate caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to provide exceptional one-on-one care in Simsbury, Granby, Canton, Avon, and surrounding areas. You will assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, and companionship while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of documented experience with seniors.
• TB test copy required.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
• Driver’s license with insured and reliable vehicle (preferred).
• Experience with Dementia/Hospice/end-of-life care (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility (transfers and range of motion exercises).
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and respite services for families.
• Offer transportation for appointments, shopping, and other activities (if needed).

• Experience with a Hoyer lift (a plus).
• Experience with Dementia/Hospice/end-of-life care (a plus).
• Driver’s license with insured and reliable vehicle (preferred).
