Qualifications
Must possess US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with a Tankerman PIC Barge (DL) Endorsement.
Must pass and remain compliant with Drug & Alcohol Testing Policies.
Must clear a USCG Pre-Employment and Annual Merchant Mariner Examination.
Responsibilities
Receive and confirm orders and report discrepancies immediately.
Inspect the barge and perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before transfers.
Maintain machinery and monitor cargo flow during operations.
Prepare barge for sail and complete required paperwork.
