Qualifications

• Must possess US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with a Tankerman PIC Barge (DL) Endorsement.
• Must pass and remain compliant with Drug & Alcohol Testing Policies.
• Must clear a USCG Pre-Employment and Annual Merchant Mariner Examination.

Responsibilities

• Receive and confirm orders and report discrepancies immediately.
• Inspect the barge and perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before transfers.
• Maintain machinery and monitor cargo flow during operations.
• Prepare barge for sail and complete required paperwork.
