Job summary

FOX is seeking a writer to maintain and optimize its commerce content library. You will craft 6–10 shoppable pieces weekly, update pricing and product data, and conduct research on products and trends to deliver accurate, timely recommendations for readers.

With strong news judgment and SEO know-how, you will test new products and coordinate with editors and growth teams to ensure up-to-date coverage and compelling headlines while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• An obsessive interest in products and shopping; able to advise readers.
• At least 2 years' digital experience in journalism or affiliate commerce/marketing, incl. SEO.
• Able to work under deadline-driven newsroom conditions and in fast-paced environments.
• Daily experience with a CMS; WordPress familiarity preferred.
• Proven track record of revenue-driving articles, both deals-centric and evergreen.
• Strong data mindset for editorial ideas and audience growth.

Responsibilities

• Write and produce 6-10 pieces of shoppable content weekly.
• Keep pricing and product data up to date across the content library.
• Research and write buyers guides, pros/cons; may conduct interviews.
• Investigate new products/trends and competitor picks for best recommendations.
• Monitor and test new product launches to ensure current coverage.
• Pitch new content ideas and analyze market trends for top picks.
• Price-check each article before publish and before republishes.
