Job summary

Lazer, a remote-first digital product studio, is seeking a Shopify POS rollout lead to drive multi-store deployments across client sites. You will partner with Retail Operations, Store Leadership, and HQ to document current-state workflows and translate them into future SOPs and trainings.

You will configure Shopify POS, ensure SOP-aligned store experiences, and deliver live training both in-person and remotely. Travel ~25% is expected, with on-site rollout support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retail systems rollout or POS implementations.
• Hands-on Shopify POS experience and knowledge of its constraints.
• Proven track record leading multi-store rollout(s) with on-site training and go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & process definition with stakeholders to document current-state workflows.
• Shopify POS configuration, product grid organization, and location settings.
• Training & change management: build role-based training plans and deliver live training.
• Rollout execution & hypercare: own rollout playbook, cutover plan, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with Technical Architect + Engineering to understand POS requirements and client customizations.
• Hardware support: basic in-store setup/troubleshooting for iPads, scanners, printers, and payment devices.
