Job summary

TP-Link Systems Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Shopify Web Designer/Developer with 2+ years of Shopify experience to drive storefronts and campaigns.

You will balance coding and design, build reusable components, and ensure brand consistency while collaborating with marketing, eCommerce, and creative teams. Responsibilities include designing responsive templates, implementing Liquid features, and creating high-converting pages and emails with Klaviyo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Shopify Web Designer or Developer.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards, UI systems, and modern front-end best practices.
• Experience building reusable Shopify sections, modular layouts, and scalable storefront systems.
• Experience with Shopify metafields, metaobjects, dynamic sources, and custom CMS-driven content structures.
• Understanding of e-commerce UX principles and conversion-focused design strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot front-end issues such as Liquid rendering and CSS conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Balance of 60% coding and 40% design to create, customize, and optimize Shopify stores.
• Design and build reusable Shopify sections, templates, and modular UI components.
• Design responsive, accessible experiences across devices and breakpoints.
• Develop and maintain branded emails for product launches and campaigns using Klaviyo.
• Optimize storefront experiences for conversion, engagement, and usability.
• Provide data-driven recommendations using Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics.
• Design and develop high-converting campaign landing pages and promotional experiences.
• Implement dynamic content structures using Shopify metafields, metaobjects, and custom templates.
• Design and implement custom Shopify functionality in Liquid with interactive UI components.
• Take ownership of Shopify storefront initiatives from concept to launch and iteration.
• Support two Shopify stores: TP-Link D2C and Omada D2B, and architect a new D2C store from concept to launch.
