Job description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shop / Yard Worker for a company based in Charlotte, NC. This hands-on role involves post-processing pipe work including cleaning, measuring, painting, and capping pipe. The position is based primarily in an outdoor environment and requires a strong work ethic and willingness to work in various weather conditions. Pay Rate

17.00- $18.00per hourbased on experience Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm Shop / Yard Worker Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform post-processing of pipe including cleaning, measuring, painting, and capping
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain or shine)
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and yard area, assistwith general yard and shop duties as needed
• Use basic tools and equipment for daily tasks
• Follow safety procedures andcompany guidelines at all times

Shop / Yard Worker Qualifications and Requirements

• Comfortable working outdoors daily in all weather conditions
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (e.g., measurements, simple calculations)
• Basic construction or mechanical skills a plus
