Sargon-Masonry-Construction is seeking an experienced Shop Welder in Phoenix, AZ. You will weld and fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel components, read shop drawings, and work with MIG, flux-core, and stick welding processes.
The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment. Overtime is available based on workload, with competitive pay based on experience.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in MIG and flux-core welding; stick welding experience preferred.
- Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
- Operate fabrication equipment and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details.
- Fabricate and weld structural steel, miscellaneous metals, fencing, gates, and custom components.
- Perform MIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding as required.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble steel components according to specs.
- Operate saws, grinders, drills, and other shop tools.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials in the shop.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
