Job summary

RANDALL is seeking Metalwork Field Installers / Welders to support projects across Florida, including Orlando. The role involves leading a team, reading blueprints, fabricating metal structures, and installing field weldments with TIG, MIG and flux-core welders.

Expect travel to site locations and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of metalwork experience, can read plans, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in metalwork trade.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Knowledge of safe welding practices and PPE requirements.

Randall Architectural Ironworks (RAI) is seeking Metalwork Field Installers / Welders.

We work behind the scenes at Orlando's top attractions and venues.

Job Responsibilities

• Work independently and lead a team
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches
• Layout and cross check shop set ups
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools
• Oversee the installation of fine finish elements
• Set up, operate and maintain field welding equipment; Tig, Mig and Flux Core
• Value and exhibit safe working methods
• Communicate efficiently and effectively
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying tools/items, work in extreme weather, and properly wear personal protective gear.
