Job summary

RANDALL Construction – Prefabrication in Apopka, FL is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for a full-time, on-site role. You will weld and fit pipes to specifications, inspect work for defects, and ensure compliance with ASME B31.1 standards.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, pipe welding certification or vocational training, and knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, and Stick welding. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Randall Construction – Prefabrication departmentis currently seeking top-tier Pipe Welders to work in our Shop in Apopka, FL. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for Pipe Welders located in Apopka, FL. The Pipe Welders will be responsible for welding and fitting pipes to specifications, examining work product for defects, and ensuring conformance with specifications.

Essential Functions

Fit and Weld steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications.

Desired Qualification Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret spool drawings and technical detail data sheets.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
• Must be able to pass a brief verbal pipe fitters test during interview.
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding
• Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
• Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Power Piping
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a must have
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.
• Safety: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
