Job summary

Legacy Heating & Cooling is seeking a hands-on Shop & Warehouse Assistant in Spokane to support our fabrication shop, warehouse operations, and field crews. You will assist with material preparation, inventory, deliveries, and general shop duties, staying busy and versatile throughout the day.

We offer a 32-hour weekly schedule, with on-site work Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–2:30 PM. A valid driver’s license is required, and we provide training; HVAC, fabrication, warehousing, or construction

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, fabrication, warehousing, or HVAC is a plus, but training available.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to lift and move materials and equipment safely.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist the shop fabricator with material preparation, basic fabrication tasks, and general shop duties.
• Support warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, stocking, and staging materials and equipment.
• Pick up parts and supplies from vendors and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, inventory management, and material handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop, warehouse, and yard.
• Provide additional support to the shop, warehouse/purchasing team, and field crews as needed.

$19.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Legacy Heating & Cooling is a well-established and growing commercial HVAC company serving North Idaho and Eastern Washington. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Shop & Warehouse Assistant to support our fabrication shop, warehouse operations, and field crews.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with their hands, and taking on a variety of tasks throughout the day. You’ll work alongside our shop fabricator and warehouse/purchasing team, assisting with material preparation, inventory, deliveries, and general shop operations.

We’re looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Experience in construction, fabrication, warehousing, or HVAC is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person!
