Job summary

Arcon Electric in Florida's Panhandle is seeking a motivated Shop Technician to ensure our field crews have the right tools and materials when they need them. You will keep the shop organized and support operations to maintain efficient project flow.

This full-time role requires a valid driver license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Electrical background is a plus but not required, with opportunities for growth and stable year-round work.

Qualifications

• Active, valid Driver's License required.
• Able to handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Attention to detail and reliable attendance essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized shop and yard.
• Receive, inspect, and arrange incoming tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare tools and equipment for field crews.
• Clean, maintain, and perform small repairs on tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies.
• Load and unload vehicles with tools, equipment, and materials.
• Use a company vehicle to deliver tools or materials to job sites.
• Maintain a safe workspace inside and outside the shop.
• Support shop and field operations.
• Property maintenance as needed.
