Job summary

Stabil Drill in Midland, TX, a Superior Energy Services company, is seeking a Full-Time Shop Technician to join our team. This role involves dismantling, repairing, and reassembling tools for jobs, loading/unloading with a forklift, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

You will assist with inventory, basic maintenance, and daily operations, including occasional on-call duties while adhering to QHSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle tools, repair, and reassemble for jobs.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment and operate a forklift.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, pressure washing, and proper disposal of debris.
• Assist with special projects and daily/weekly inventory.
• Receive and distribute supplies and help move tools.
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries as needed.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and QHSE requirements.
• On-call rotation as scheduled; comply with emergency procedures.

Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Shop Technician to join our team in Midland, TX.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Dismantle tools, repair, and reassemble for jobs.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property. Including general shop, breakroom, & cleanup
• Assist in special projects.
• Shop organization and supply storage. Including daily and weekly inventory.
• Receiving and distribution of supplies.
• Assist with the movement of tools
• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment
• Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
• Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of one to three years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Certification operating a forklift preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
