Job summary

Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company, seeks a full-time Shop Technician in Midland, TX. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble tools for jobs, load/unload equipment with a forklift, and maintain shop cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include inventory, receiving supplies, movement of tools, and preventative maintenance.

On-call rotation and adherence to QHSE policies are required. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; PTO;

Qualifications

• Experience in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle tools, repair, and reassemble for jobs.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.
• Maintain cleanliness, pressure washing, and proper disposal of debris on property.
• Assist in special projects.
• Shop organization and inventory management.
• Receiving and distribution of supplies.
• Assist with movement of tools.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures and be on call when scheduled.

Stabil Drillis currently seeking a Full-TimeShop Technician to join our team in Midland, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dismantle tools, repair, and reassemble for jobs.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property. Including general shop, breakroom, & cleanup
• Assist in special projects.
• Shop organization and supply storage. Including daily and weekly inventory
• Receiving and distribution of supplies.
• Assist with the movement of tools
• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment
• Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
• Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of one to three years’experience in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Certification operating a forklift preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
