East Coast Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Shop Technician to support the Service Center shop team. You will assist Mechanics, handle light preventive maintenance, and help with inventory and organization to ensure efficient operations.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on learning as you contribute to a well-run shop and facilitate inter-site fleet movements as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken and written English due to safety and technical needs.
• Strong interest in mechanical work, fleet maintenance, or equipment repair.
• Reliable and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Willingness to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mechanics and Lead Mechanics with daily shop duties.
• Perform light PM tasks: check fluids, replace air filters, basic lubrication, battery checks, simple inspections.
• Support minor repairs under supervision and fabrication prep.
• Keep shop clean, organized, and safe; manage tools and supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts, parts receiving, and stocking.
• Drive company vehicles for inter-site fleet transfers and yard movements.
• Participate in snow removal operations when required.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and shop protocols.
