Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Using a tape measure and dial caliper to verify measurements.
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assisting other team members throughout the fabrication process.

Looking for a hands‑on job where no two days are exactly the same? We’re looking for a dependable Shop Worker to join a busy metal fabrication team! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working with tools, machinery, and a team.

What You’ll Do

• Deburring and shaking out metal materials and finished parts
• Drilling and tapping materials and installing hardware
• Safely operating drill presses, hardware insertion equipment, and handheld grinders
• Moving and handling materials throughout the shop
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and daily safety checks
• Inspecting parts for defects, damage, quantity, and proper orientation
• Reading work orders, job travelers, and basic specifications
• Using a tape measure and dial caliper to verify measurements
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting other team members throughout the fabrication process
• Communicating equipment issues or process improvements to supervisors
