Komline seeks a Shop Technician in Venice, Florida, to support the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality membrane treatment systems. This hands-on role entails fabricating piping and structural components, assisting with system wiring, and preparing products for shipment.

Successful candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a shop environment. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs and travel up to 15% of the time, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Eager and willing to learn new skills, previous experience working with pipe fittings or construction is a plus.
• Ability to follow processes with a strong attention to detail to produce high quality assembly.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Be available for overtime dependent upon production needs.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs. with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble PVC and stainless-steel piping and fittings in accordance with production guidelines.
• Fabricate and assemble structural fiberglass to complete frame assemblies.
• Run wiring and conduit for instrumentation and actuated valves.
• Pack and crate completed systems and parts for shipment.
• Prepare items for shipping and storage.
• Stock inventory.
• Travel to assist senior technicians with installations and startup of completed systems.
• Other shop duties as assigned.

The Shop Technician supports the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality membrane treatment systems. This Shop Technician will be hands‑on in building and preparing equipment used across water and process treatment applications, contributing to projects ranging from new system builds to retrofits. Working in a collaborative shop environment, the Shop Technician fabricates piping and structural components, assists with system wiring, and prepares finished products for shipment.
