The Field Service Technician II will provide technical and logistical support for customers for Komline‑Sanderson supplied systems and equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation
• Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests
• Supervise and coordinate start‑up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer’s performance criteria
• Coordinate contractors and other onsite personnel to oversee activities and inspect work‑in‑progress
• Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance
• Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade school, or military training
• 5+ years of field service experience
• Possess knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
• Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
• Collaborate with others and work in a team environment
• Travel up to 70% to customer sites
• Available to train 3–6 months at our facility in Peapack, New Jersey
