Job summary

Kelso Industries in Minot, ND seeks a hands-on Shop Technician/Mechanic to support our field crews. You will remove and install service bodies on company trucks, set up and outfit trucks with equipment, storage, and accessories, and fabricate stands and backboards for project needs.

You will measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized shop. The role requires dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently or in a team

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and experience with trucks, equipment, or shop projects.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, adapt to changing priorities, and complete neat, quality work.
• Willingness to follow company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

The shop environment may involve noise, dust, and exposure to weather when working outdoors.
