Xylem Malvern, PA is seeking a Shop Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, service and repair pumping and related equipment in a Service Center. You will perform inspections, diagnose engine and pump issues, and assist in setting up pumping systems at customer sites.
The role requires 1–2 years of diesel experience, a valid license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. Starting pay ranges from $30–$33/hr with full benefits; travel may be required.

THE ROLE:
The Shop Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and repairing pumping and support equipment in a safe and efficient manner in a Xylem Service Center. We offer a full benefits package to include 4 WEEKS Paid Time Off (PTO) for hourly positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits. Xylem will provide paid training for CDL upgrades (if applicable).

DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role, the working environment may be frequently outdoors, weather extremities, use of PPE, exposures to hazardous material, loud noise, etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to {regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs. In addition, this role may require frequent travel to customer sites and on-call as a regular part of the job.
Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours.
The estimated salary range for this position is $30 to $33/hr.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
