Job summary

American Waterworks seeks a Shop Technician to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and tool upkeep at our Fargo facility. You will ensure timely stocking, receive and store inventory, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting production crews with required materials and equipment.

We value a team player who can lift up to 100 pounds, has experience in warehousing or logistics, and communicates clearly.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, walk, crawl, and climb a ladder

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels by overseeing physical counts and reconciling with upcoming production needs
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure every part of our facility is consistently clean and in working order
• Receive and store inventory in an efficient and economical manner
• Help maintain warehouse to showroom level
• Help maintain the physical conditions of the grounds
• Assist with the company’s tool inventory program
• Ensure production crews have the necessary products, equipment, and tools at the right time
• Other duties as necessary

What You Would Do

• Assist in keeping needed inventory levels by overseeing physical counts and reconciling with upcoming production needs
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure every part of our facility is consistently clean and in working order
• Receive and store inventory in an efficient and economical manner
• Help maintain warehouse to showroom level
• Help maintain the physical conditions of the groundsAssist with the company’s tool inventory program
• Ensure our production crews have a remarkable internal customer service experience by getting the products, equipment, and tools they need at the right time
