Job summary

Global Water Technology (GWT) is seeking a Warehouse & Production Technician to manage receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory per purchase orders and schedules. You will load orders, stage for delivery, assist production with chemical handling, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, basic inventory checks, and coordinating with production on batch making. This is an in-warehouse role with potential after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Entry to intermediate level; relevant experience considered.
  • Forklift training and experience preferred but not required (Certification & Training Provided).
  • High school diploma or GED required; college experience a plus.
  • Cross functionality is necessary for this role.
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness are essential.
  • Must pass drug screen and background check.
  • English communication and reading proficiency required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Warehouse & Production Technician
Description

About the Position: The Warehouse & Production Associate, is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Duties will also include assisting production associates in chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making.

Summary of Duties:

  • Shipping and receiving responsibilities
  • Using forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move products around the warehouse as instructed
  • Preparing orders for shipment / picking and palletizing customer orders
  • Basic inventory management such as checking raw material and finished good inventory quantities and reporting to manager
  • Housekeeping and cleanliness duties / responsible for maintaining clean & organized environment
  • Stage orders for next day of deliveries
  • Chemical handling such as chemical transfers and batch making

Working Conditions: The Warehouse & Production Associate is a warehouse-based position. All of the workload is performed within GWT's warehouse facility.

The Warehouse & Production Associate will occasionally be expected to be available outside of standard business hours to support the warehouse and production needs of the company's clients.

Physical Requirements: This position can be physically demanding. This includes the requirement to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects on a regular basis. The Warehouse & Production Associate is required to move around a production and warehouse environment. The Warehouse & Production Associate will need to be able to carry products (e.g. chemical pails, softener salt, raw materials) of up to 50 to 80 lbs.
