Job summary

Triumph Modular is hiring a Service & Shop Technician to join our team at a high-growth branch location in the United States. The role focuses on servicing office trailers, modular buildings, and storage containers with emphasis on safety, quality control, and customer service.

Multitasking in a fast-moving environment is essential. The position requires problem-solving and strong communication skills, with responsibilities ranging from service calls to making-ready work and inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant/ related type work.
• Excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls for office trailers, modular buildings, and storage containers within the servicing area as needed.
• Perform service calls including HVAC, electrical, windows/doors, locksets, stairs, or other service items.
• Make-ready work for units to go on rent (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, servicing).
• Ensure tasks are prompt and cost-effective per procedures and requirements.
• Operate company vehicle and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of necessary parts and equipment.
• Provide clear daily reports and descriptions for backup billing.

About the Role

Triumph Modular is seeking a Service & Shop Technician to join our team at a high-growth branch location. This individual should have strong problem solving and communication skills. The role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment while maintaining safety, quality control and customer service standards.

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls for office trailers, modular buildings, office and storage containers throughout the servicing area(s) as needed.
• Perform service calls, including but not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Windows/Doors, Locksets, Stairs, or other service-related items.
• Perform work required in the preparatory function(make-ready) of buildings for units to go on rent (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning & servicing).
• Ensures all tasks are performed promptly and cost-effectively, consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.
• Operate any company vehicle and equipment in a safe, appropriate manner.
• Responsible for adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures the availability and condition of required materials and tools
• Ensure all tasks are completed promptly.
• Assist in developing methods of readying office trailers/modular buildings to reduce service calls.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all necessary parts and equipment.
• To accurately report daily service calls, including well-written descriptions of all completed work for backup billing.
• Ability to deliver and install ancillary items (VAPS), i.e., desks, chairs, file cabinets, whiteboards, walls, stairs, ramps, etc.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant/ related type work
• Excellent driving record

Physical Requirement:

• Able to lift 50lbs or more
• Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, and get into awkward positions while maintaining equipment.
• Ability to work in a high noise and dust level environment.

Certifications:

• HVAC certification is preferred
