Job summary

International Snubbing Services (ISS), a Superior Energy Services subsidiary, seeks a Shop Technician with strong mechanical skills to join our team in Arnaudville, LA during training at ISS facility.

You will provide labor and semi-skilled support to service supervisors, mechanics, and specialists, perform general maintenance of field and shop equipment, and assist with loading/unloading, troubleshooting, and basic assembly. High School or GED preferred; 2 years oilfield experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support service supervisors, specialists, and mechanics.
• General maintenance of field and shop equipment and tools.
• Assist mechanics with various tasks.

• Load/unload trucks and deliver supplies.
• Assist with basic assembly using power/hand tools.
• Report defective materials or components.

ISS is seeking a Shop Technician with strong mechanical skills to join our team. Career path advancement is accessible through specialized training and mentors committed to helping you learn about snubbing and HWO equipment maintenance and operation.

This position is subject to a training period at the ISS facility based in Arnaudville, LA.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The position provides labor and semi-skilled support to service supervisors, specialists, and mechanics.
• General maintenance of field and shop equipment and tools.
• Support mechanics with various tasks.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Load/unload trucks on location, picking up or delivering supplies.
• General assembly work that may require operating various power/hand tools.
• Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
• Ability to buff, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
• Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
• Ability to interact with co-workers and follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic ability to understand, speak, read, and write English.
• Basic computer skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
