Essential Personnel, Inc. in the Ainsworth, NE area is hiring a Shop Technician to support fabrication and assembly of livestock handling equipment. No previous experience required; they'll train you on welding, fabrication, and shop skills.

You'll operate grinders, drill presses, band saws, forklifts, and overhead cranes; perform welding and metal prep, follow safety standards, and maintain a clean, safe work area while contributing to team goals.

• Manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or production experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication and assembly of livestock handling equipment.
• Operate shop equipment including grinders, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic hose machines, and other power tools.
• Assist with welding, cutting, grinding, and metal preparation tasks.
• Safely move and position materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and quality inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and production standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production duties as needed.
