Job summary

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related environment.
• Proven ability to organize daily work and manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable giving direct feedback and holding employees accountable.
• Strong communication and follow-through.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and basic production tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Set daily priorities for shop fabrication, material staging, shipping, receiving, and deliveries.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials are ready when field crews need them.
• Lead, train, and hold shop employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and organization.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory and material staging system.
• Identify shortages, damaged material, missing information, and schedule risks before they become field problems.
• Coordinate the use and basic maintenance of shop equipment, forklifts, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
• Assist with storefront, curtain wall, door, glass, mirror, and brake metal fabrication as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional shop.
• Improve shop processes and reduce wasted time, lost materials, and preventable remobilization.
• Communicate clearly when priorities conflict or additional decisions are needed.
