Job summary

J & A Glass & Mirror, Inc. in Rogers, MN is seeking a motivated Glazier - Installer for a full-time role with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing work areas, loading materials, assisting in glass and door installations, following site lead directions, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience.

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Job Description:

J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
• Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites
• Assist in the installation of glass, storefront/curtain wall, and doors with closers and thresholds
• Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman
• Assist Lead Glaziers as needed
• Assist with brake metal installation
• Identify and report issues with work material on site
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Comfort using hand and power tools
• 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
• Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
• Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)
• Be quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certification
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed
