Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a ProSolutions Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations at the Herc Rentals ProSolutions shop in Texas. You will supervise service technicians, manage workflow, ensure safety and quality standards, and mentor technicians to uphold our commitment to reliable equipment support.

You will oversee inspection, maintenance, and testing of pumps, generators, climate control, and more, while coordinating with branch staff to meet customer specifications and deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment service, fleet maintenance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate activities of service technicians and shop personnel.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of ProSolutions equipment (pumps, generators, climate control, etc.).
• Ensure strict compliance with all Herc Rentals safety policies and government regulations.
• Mentor and train technicians, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory levels of tools, parts, and supplies; ensure timely ordering and receipt of equipment.
• Conduct regular shop audits for cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational standards.
• Inspect outgoing equipment to verify proper function and compliance with customer specifications.
• Collaborate with branch staff and other departments to support business operations and customer satisfaction.
• Document and report on shop metrics, including work order completion rates, maintenance schedules, and cost controls.
• Troubleshoot complex repair issues and provide hands-on technical assistance as needed.
