Job summary

Ring Power Corporation in Florida seeks a skilled technician (Tech II) to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer and company equipment, following safety and environmental rules.

You will service mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, document work, monitor costs, and mentor others in the department. The role requires 3-4 years experience and completion of required training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and ability to comprehend written material.
• 3-4 years of experience in a technical repair environment.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech II.
• Able to communicate effectively with employees and customers, in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner and uses PPE.
• Attends required technician training classes and stays aware of industry changes.
• Maintains tools to diagnose, disassemble, and reassemble components per manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Keep work area neat and seek safety/workflow improvements.
• Inspect parts for reuse to control repair costs; document repairs with software.
• Monitor expenses vs estimates and flag any cost overruns before job completion.
• Mentor others in the department and assist the team to meet goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
