Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is seeking a Technician – ERC Shop Service 3 to perform advanced repair work on cold drink equipment at the ERC service line. The role emphasizes electrical testing, refrigeration knowledge, and equipment certification.

Successful candidates will have a one-year technical certification or related experience, strong safety discipline, and ability to read diagrams and operate a multimeter. 7am–3:30pm shift with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• PPE as required by position and safety policies.
• Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Professional appearance within company guidelines.
• Maintain safety and security of company assets.
• Utilize all company resources and technology.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration cycle.
• Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications.
• Knowledge of Appliance Repair.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter.
• Effective quality management and technical skills needed.

Job Description

The Technician – ERC Shop Service 3 will be responsible for advanced stages of cold drink equipment repair on the Equipment Refurbishment Center (ERC) service line.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Installing and testing electrical components on machines
• Testing, repairing, and certifying vending, merchandising, and fountain equipment
• Operate Handheld
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or
• equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration cycle
• Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
