Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is seeking an entry-level Service Technician to service vending and fountain equipment. You will perform mechanical maintenance, install components, and interact with customers while maintaining inventory and the company vehicle.

Strong safety practices and the ability to use Microsoft Office/Mobilizer are essential. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 years old
Valid driver's license and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
High school diploma or GED; or 0 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
Knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair preferred
Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals and use a Multi-Meter preferred
Refrigeration Certification Type 1 preferred
Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications
Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
Ability to work with all functional team members
Customer service oriented
Use hand and power tools

Job Description

The Technician - Service 1 is the entry level position to the Service Tech positions responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.

What you need to succeed:

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
