Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery Co. is accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our McAlester, Oklahoma location. You will diagnose and repair John Deere construction and forestry equipment and other brands in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to use service and parts support programs.
• Ability to create accurate service reports of tasks performed.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain components.
• Work effectively in a shop team environment.
• Willingness to participate in company-paid training.
• Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools for diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment.
• Follow instructions from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to efficiently service or repair machines.
• Must pass a physical drug screen and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other brands supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.
• Rebuild or replace powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.
• Align with safety compliance per company policy.
• Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.
• Participate in a positive relationship-building environment with coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

Job description

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our McAlester, Oklahoma location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry.
