Job summary

Allegheny Surface Technology in Bradford, PA is hiring Shop Service Technicians with no experience required — we train you. This full-time role offers multiple 12-hour shift options (4/3 rotation) and a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.

You’ll work with stainless steel surfaces, operate hand and power tools, follow detailed procedures, and contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient shop. Training and career growth are supported by a strong benefits package.

Shop Service Technician (No experience Necessary- We Train!)

Bradford, PA | Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available | Starting Rate $19.00/hr

We are growing! Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a long-term career in a clean, professional manufacturing environment? Allegheny Surface Technology is seeking reliable and safety-focused Shop Service Technicians to join our growing team.

Who are We?

We are Allegheny Surface Technology, and we are an industry leader in stainless steel surface finishing. We specialize in top-tier service to both shop and field customers, including electropolishing, passivation, and pressure vessel inspection, repair, and testing.

In this role, you’ll process customer-supplied stainless-steel materials using a variety of tools and equipment, following detailed procedures to achieve high-quality surface finishes. If you take pride in hands-on work and have a strong work ethic, this opportunity is for you. There are multiple shift options to choose from and can be discussed upon interview.

What You’ll Do

Shift Options & Compensation

• 4/3 Split Rotating Day Shift Schedule – Enjoy a built-in work-life balance with our rotating 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Employees work one week on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, followed by the next week on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This consistent 4/3 rotation means you’ll enjoy every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, giving you more time for family, travel, hobbies, or simply recharging between shifts.
• 4/3 Split Rotating Night Shift Schedule – Enjoy a built-in work-life balance with our rotating 12-hour night shift schedule from 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Employees work one week on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, followed by the next week on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This consistent 4/3 rotation means you’ll enjoy every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, giving you more time for family, travel, hobbies, or simply recharging between shifts.
