Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery in Broken Bow, OK is seeking a John Deere Service Technician to diagnose and repair construction and agricultural equipment at our shop.

You will rebuild powertrain and hydraulic components, troubleshoot electrical systems, and maintain safe, organized work areas while collaborating with Service, Sales, and Parts teams. Company-paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• John Deere experience preferred.
• Related construction equipment experience required.
• Basic computer skills for service systems and parts lookup.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and powertrain systems.
• Must work well in a shop team and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment.
• Rebuild or replace powertrain and hydraulic components including engines and transmissions.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor on duty.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain an orderly work area.
• Collaborate with Service, Sales and Parts teams; generate service reports.
• Pass physical drug screening and hold a valid driver’s license.

Job description

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our Broken Bow, Oklahoma location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry. Reports To: Service Manager

Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.

Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps etc.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.

Align with safety compliance per company policy.

Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.

Participate in a positive and a relationship building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

Requirements

Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs.

Ability to maintain and create accurate and comprehensive service reports on tasks performed during service or repair.

Must have general knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and power train components.

Must be able to work efficiently in a shop team environment.

Willingness to participate in company paid training as required.

Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment.

Must carry out instructions or duties provided by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman in an effort to efficiently and effectively service or repair machines.

Applicant must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver's license.
